Medicare Advantage Plan Benefits to Help You Live Healthier

When you choose a Medicare Advantage plan from UnitedHealthcare, you get more for your Medicare dollar. UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans are built with the features and benefits you need to help you live healthier.*

Fitness

Most Medicare Advantage plans from UnitedHealthcare offer Renew Active™, a fitness program for body and mind designed to help members stay active, at a gym or from home, at no additional cost.1 Learn more about Renew Active.

UnitedHealthcare will continue to offer SilverSneakers® on many plans where Renew Active is not yet available.2

Dental

Dental coverage is available with most Medicare Advantage plans. All plans that include a dental benefit cover services not covered by Original Medicare, such as exams, annual x-rays and routine cleanings—all for a $0 copay with in-network dentists. Many plans also include dental coverage for comprehensive services like fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, and certain types of root canals.

Vision

Routine eye exams with a $0 copay are included in nearly all Medicare Advantage plans. Many plans also offer an eyewear allowance for contacts or frames, with standard lenses covered in full.

FirstLine

FirstLine is an OTC (over-the-counter) benefit that helps members save money on OTC medications and products, in-store or for home delivery. Many UnitedHealthcare plans offer an allowance toward health and wellness products—like pain relievers, cold remedies and vitamins—and some even offer an allowance to buy healthy food at many retailers.

Hearing

Many Medicare Advantage plans offer a $0 copay for routine hearing exams and low copays on name brand hearing aids—or UnitedHealthcare Hearing's exclusive brand Relate™.

Telemedicine (Virtual Visits)

Talk to a provider wherever you are with telemedicine Virtual Visits. Discuss medical concerns or get a diagnosis and treatment for non-emergency conditions from the comfort of home (or away) using your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Unlimited virtual medical visits are available for a $0 copay and many plans also offer virtual mental health visits for a low or no copay.

These aren’t the only benefits and features you’ll get as a Medicare Advantage plan member. Visit the Wellness Resources and Services page to learn more about what may be covered under a Medicare Advantage plan. Also, be sure to read the Evidence of Coverage for the plan you're interested in to see all benefit details.
